We’re the best…

…in the world at being second and third — if the just completed Winter Olympics are any indication of our ability to compete.

Makes you wonder what we could do if we had universal health care and took care of all our citizens, like they do in the rest of the first world.  I wonder what kind of productivity improvements and growth we could engender if everyone didn’t stay in crappy jobs just to have healthcare?
