The “Wall Incident”

For years, we’ve asked kids in the neighborhood not to walk on our retaining wall in the front yard.  Being kids, of course they don’t listen, and recently, the kids have been congregating there to walk to school with the safety patrols.  And kids being kids, of course they knocked down a little piece of the wall and there was much consternation.  Below are the notes that we have received.  Click on any of the images to see them full size.

We hope this is a lesson well learned for all the kids in the group.  It’s a good thing that I’m generally not around when they’re out their goofing around, or I would not be as nice as Jill.  Don’t Poke the Bear!
