The April National Geographic is devoted discussions about water.  Water will be a defining issue of this century.  Even though over 90 percent of the world’s surface is covered with water, only 3 percent of water is fresh, and many people don’t have enough to drink.

The most interesting article was about a simple way to make potable water in six hours with a clear PET bottle, a piece of sheet metal and the power of the sun.  See the SODISproject in case you get lost in the woods.
