  • There is a big difference between saying what you do and doing what you say.
  • Learn to listen; listen to learn.
  • Many of us fail to recognize opportunity because most of the time it is disguised as hard work.
  • I’m not one of those people who has memorized the Big Book.  I figure that’s OK because it’s all written down for me to look up.

  • Sober saying: There’s nothing that can happen to me today that my Higher Power and I — together — can’t handle.
  • If you don’t drink again or use again, you don’t ever have to go back to where you came from.
  • A mistake is evidence that someone has tried to do something.
  • I never got drunk watching another drink.  I never got serenity watching others do the steps.  This is a program of action.
  • The program is for participants, not spectators.
  • When does it get better?  It gets better when your behavior changes.
