Microsoft has always been the Magnavox of computing… can’t make great products on their own, but can take other peoples ideas and make products just good enough to sell millions to people who don’t know any better.

Good observation. But that can take it only so far. Apple’s market cap is expected to beat Microsoft’s soon. Hopefully MSFT will compete and lead.
