Car jumps median, hits bus
A Minneapolis Park Police officer examined the crash scene Friday after a woman’s car jumped the median and struck a school bus at the intersection of Hennepin Avenue and Vineland Place near the Walker Art Center. The school bus was not transporting students at the time of the incident, but the crash did snarl traffic in the busy area until it was cleared

Why does the editor of the StarTribune continue to allow this shoddy sentence construction? The car wasn’t driving itself, a woman drove that car over the median and hit the bus. It’s the same thing when someone hits a pedestrian or a cyclist with their car like the fault wasn’t the responsibility of the driver, but the “car” did it.
