Key Lime Yogurt

I’ve been experimenting on how to flavor plain Greek Yogurt so I can get a full 8-ounce serving of key lime yogurt; most pre-packaged yogurts have all kinds of extra junk in them.

The first experiment was mixing a package of sugar-free lime jello into 16 ounces of yogurt.  That was horrible and grainy, so I thought maybe I should to go back to just using key lime juice.  That seems to be the trick.

I tried Nectresse, but it had a horrible aftertaste, so I switched to Equal and that seems to be the ticket.

Ingredients

  • 8-ounces plain fat-free greek yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon bottled key lime juice
  • 2 packets aspartame sweetener

Method

  1. Mix all three ingredients together.
