Is Dr. Phil Oprah’s slave?

In the 15 December 2003 issue of Time magazine; in the interview column; the interviewer asked Oprah Winfrey the following question: "What do you think of your boy Dr. Phil’s diet book?"

Man alive!  The question seems a little insensitive given the good doctors age; let alone the historical racial undertones of the word "boy."
