Because the outcry would have been too great, IBM decided to use Mohammed Ali as the new spokesperson for Linux, instead of Dr. Martin Luther King. Dr. King would have been a better choice; but unfortunately he is dead and can’t be a mouthpiece for Big Blue. I thought that the single airing of the "Shake things up" ad for Linux during Superbowl XXXVIII was wonderful, but would have preferred a, "world where Linux and Windows play together." I too believe that we are at the point at which the Microsoft monopoly is beginning to fade. Too many people are just fed up with WHG III.
