Would it be possible for the hosting team to come up with some other comment to guests than, “Good Job!” after most guests provide content on the show? I think it demeans a guest’s contribution to the program; like they’re still grade school age, and have just crossed some boundary in their development. You wouldn’t have asked them to appear if they weren’t going to do a good job. A simple “Thank you”, or “Your comments were very helpful to our understanding of this issue.” would make the whole team seem more like professionals and less like cub reporters. I know this may seem petty to you, but I feel that most of the guests deserve more than what constitutes a high-five for their insight.
