Cisco says that even though the source code for its internal secret operating system was stolen, it’s nothing for you to worry about. Considering that this is coming from a company that had hard-wired passwords in some of its hardware, and who was licensing an insecure “authentication” scheme to other vendors, I would start worrying if I had Cisco equipment.
Of course, *everyone* has Cisco equipment, just like *everyone* has Microsoft software. So, as is recommended in the article, just lie back, relax, and think of England. I mean, think of Cisco. Oh, and make sure your security updates are up to date.
