Jill and I went out for Thai food at Tum Rup Thai in Uptown; followed by a really neat salon concert, Zo performed by Paul Cantrell, a composer, amateur pianist, and software developer I came in contact with through the Ruby Users Group. He played some beautiful short classical pieces by Chopin, Brahms, and Bach; as well as some of his own outstanding compositions.
The evening capped off by Jill saying, “Get up closer to that car ahead of us and read that bumper sticker.” After a few blocks, at a stop sign, I got close enough to read it, “Men are idiots, and I married their King.”
We couldn’t stop laughing for blocks…
