Amazingly, my car started this morning in Park Rapids, even though the temperature was -21 F.  I spent the day with the foresters, cruised timber with the timber program lead, assisting with a couple of plots; and saw how they work with the data for the timber sales.  Very interesting.

Also had some discussions with them about how they use the Trimble handhelds, and what problems they have with them.  Seems that the major problem is the check-in and out from FIM, and the fact that FIM only loads about 50% of the times they attempt to launch it.
