Cleaning the desk

The following items are from a “Politically Incorrect” daily desk calendar from some time ago.  I thought that they were interesting, so I saved them, and ran across them today as I was cleaning my desk.  I hope you enjoy them.

• Dan Quayle announced that he will not be running for president in 1996.  He said he was offered and investment opportunity he couldn’t pass up.  Rather than be president his is now going to be the proud owner of the Brooklyn Bridge.
• Race relations are deteriorating on college campuses.  If blacks and whites can’t live together in college, how can they hope to ever live together sober?
• Sports fans are out of control.  These days it’s gotten really bad a baseball games, where fans sit in the stands getting drunk, smoking, and shouting racial slurs at the players — and that’s just Marge Schott.
• Prodigy Poll If masturbation did make you go blind, I would: 39% Stop.  15% Slow down.  46% Take my chances.
• Prodigy Poll True or false: I sometimes suspect that Tab and Diet Coke are the same thing.  53% True.  47% False.
