Maybe it’s a good thing that nobody seems to care about the bogus “Columbus Day” holiday since most people have realized that it probably should be renamed, “Glorification of decimating indigenous populations of America day.”

After another lovely 80F day yesterday, we’re off to the inaugural Mankato River Ramble bicycle ride today.

It’s canning time.Daniel and I are off the to farmers market to make Pottsfield Pickle, and Zucchini Relishes.

Grampa Tony’s, home of the stuffed, “lasagna style” pizza is history.  Bummer 🙁Knew something was up when all the memorabilia was removed from the walls lately, but this morning I noticed that it has a new name and — gasp — curtains.
