    A piece in Wired magazine’s news feed talked about how viruses are going deeper into the machine and getting stealthier.  Wouldn’t it just be easier to deal with viruses in systems as we do in nature; just let them free range and inoculate machines so they have resistance?

    My cube neighbor, Bob Savage, got the following message today while debugging an application he was working on.It reminded me of the Star Trek episode, A Taste of Armageddon (TOS – Season 1, Episode 23), where the two planets ran simulations to select victims out of their citizens instead of having a real war.
