    The first Telephone Directory, for New Haven, Connecticut produced in 1878 was sold at auction at Christies in New York for $170,500.00.  Watch an IEEE.TV piece here.I have a copy of the Hibbing Minnesota phone book from the 1950’s that I’ll sell for half of that!
