Friday night, 21-Dec-2012, I got mail in my work email box from some Area Wildlife Supervisor in northern Minnesota letting everyone know that the USPS had setup a PO Box for condolences for the families and friends of the Sandy Hook Elementary massacre; and included a poem written by his sister. As tragic as this is, is it really a work related email that you should blast to all the employees of the Department of Natural Resources? Your friends maybe, but all 2,000+ employees, many of whom you don’t know?
We observed a moment of silence at 09:30 on Friday at the request of the Governor, but to use the email system paid for by the taxpayers to blast everyone seems like a cry for attention I hope the commissioner has something to say about it.
We shall see.
